Qatar Gas Transport Company is a good mid-stream player in Qatar that offers a lower risk way tp play this business. It aims to become the world’s largest producer and supplier of liquefied natural gas. It has twenty-five year contracts with state-owned Qatar Petroleum and shipbuilding contracts with South Korean shipyards. With its fleet of 27 vessels and a 43% non-operating equity in 29 vessels (which operates under the name Nakilat) is diversifyed and large enough to benefit from economies of scale.
